False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These courses start at NCV level two and the minimum amount prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

When the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level two.
